Greetings from GOOD SHEPHERD!
The forty days of Lent have begun as we follow Jesus on His journey to
Jerusalem and the cross that awaits Him on the hill of Calvary. May this be
a journey of faith for each of us. May we uphold the traditional Lenten
disciplines of prayer, fasting and works of mercy to grow spiritually and to
live out our discipleship faithfully in Jesus’ name. We hope you will join
us in worship each Sunday and Wednesday of the Lenten season.

1. UPCOMING EVENTS
MUSICAL AUDITIONS - TONIGHT!!!! Come out and audition for our 15th annual musical: CHILDREN OF EDEN! The show will be held on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11. Auditions will be held TONIGHT at 6 PM. All youth in 5th grade and up are invited to be part of the cast. Please note, we will once again be having kids in our cast (2nd grade and up) in small roles - however - they will be able to audition on March 7 at 4:30 PM. Also, any veterans of the playwrights - we will be asking you to be a part of the show, also. Watch for a postcard in the mail to let you know information about "veteran" rehearsals. Next week's rehearsal will be from 6 to 8 PM and we will get parts and sing through the show.

Rejoice, the Light has come! In this season of Epiphany God reveals
Himself to us anew in the ministry of Jesus our Lord. "No one has ever seen God
It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father‘s heart, who has made him
known." (John 1: 18) Join us throughout this sacred season as we worship
God in the name of Him who comes to make known His gracious love for us all,
Jesus Christ our Lord!
Saturday, February 13: The conversation about Jesus’ suffering and death
is enclosed in a dazzling foreshadowing of the resurrection. God affirms
Jesus’ identity, the disciples are stunned speechless, and Jesus resumes his
mission with a demonstration of his power over evil. The readings for this
evening are: 1L- Exodus 34: 29-35; G- Luke 9: 28-43. Join us for our
CONTEMPORARY SERVICE beginning at 6:30PM.

Committee night has been cancelled tonight & rescheduled for February 16th. Also, Church council will meet February 23rd instead of Feb.. 16th. These meetings have been changed due to the impending snow storm tonight.Posted by Administrator

NEEDS YOU HELP!
We are currently in the running for a grant of $25,000 from Pepsi. However, we need people to vote for our project so that it wins! If we win, we will be able to go on more field trips and buy lots of cool supplies (which the Kids Korner & Preschool will get to share, also)!

* Find our program - it says - OPEN A DAY CAMP IN MUHLENBERG TOWNSHIP and has a
picture of the campers from last year in their orange t-shirts.
